eCornwall is used by people both within and outside Cornwall to locate Cornish businesses, suppliers, information resources and tourist-related information, including accommodation.

Advertising is offered in two forms:
- Rotating Banner - an area at the top-right of all pages, which rotate with each page impression and contain hyperlinks to client sites.
- Listing Upgrades with Listing Banners - in each supplier category, the first five slots are reserved for advertisers. Non-advertisers will be listed in random order below the reserved slots.
